Yea I’ve started digging into all the nonsense that you have to do to get this to run properly. My powered usb hub came today so hopefully that helps. Moved all my other power cables away from the machine power supply and will run the router on slow speed and adjust my IPM accordingly.
The Gcode preview will only show the dimensions that the Gcode represents. The material settings in Vcarve are not part of the Gcode so Easel will only visualize the Gcode. If you’re centered to material in Vcarve, that is why it appears off-center in Easel.
If physical doesn’t match program, then you need to calibrate your steps/mm as others have mentioned.
As stated above, that’s NOT the work piece. That is the work area for that gcode. Easel has no way of knowing what he set his stock size to in Vcarve. See my posts above. The one with the purple outline explains. There is something wrong with the setup or the machine. We’re trying to help figure out which. It is not a software issue.
Like I said, I never use Easel so i’ll step out and let you guys have at it.
i usually cent as my home in vcarve that way you need but measure where the center of your material is and move your spindle there and it should cut perfectly every time unless your parameters are incorrect
