Just finished and built my machine 1000 x 1000 and all seems to be working fine apart from when I start the homing , when the router rises to touch the limit switch it des not stop , I have tested the switch and it’s working fine and also tested in machine inspector and it’s shows green when switched ? , thanks in advance
Use machine inspector -> advanced to get the grbl parameters ($$ output ) and post them here.
Check the limit switch to make sure that the moving carriage will trip the switch before the carriage hits the hard stop.

Hello Larry thanks for getting in touch , bare with me and I wil take a screen shot now , the carriage seems to hit the stop run for a few seconds then the switch stops it where as the other switch stop the motors dead ,
