Here’s the Z axis I ordered, it already has a ton of holes pre-drilled on both sides, so other than pulling the X carriage off the X rail to attach the Z slide this might be a pretty quick test…

I’m guessing I would have to, but won’t know for sure until I remove the existing Z rail.
The portion of the slide that moves (normally where the spindle is) is drilled and tapped, I’d need to be able to get a screw thru the X carriage and into that, not sure how I’d get thru the other direction…
