Y axis gerting jammed

Hello all,
Need of ur expertise again. The y axis moves fine till about 3/4 way up and then it seems to jam and motors make awful sound. No issue as long as I carve below lower half of the work area. Plz help!

Did you ever figure out what was causing this? Mine started doing this a couple weeks ago.

I switched over to the new x-controller which has separate power to each y-axis and I don’t have that problem now. I’m thinking the old one just doesn’t have enough power (I have the 1000mm size). Hope this helps
