I was working on a project and my xcarve stopped halfway into finishing carving. I noticed the x controller was smoking and the power light was blinking. What should I do?
Unplug it and open it up to see what the damage is.
Ah, the magic smoke problem. Hopefully it hasn’t dissipated too much. You’ll need to use a jar to capture it and put it back into the X-Controller 
Barring that, call Inventables support on the phone and explain the situation.
I think Inventables also offers a smoking cessation clinic too.
