X-Controller on Sherline mill

First time poster.
Want to use X-controller on my an old Sherline mill I retrofitted with size 23 steppers.
Out of the box EASEL for X-Carve appears to not let me change lead screw parameters.
Anyone have similar experience

Go into GRBL settings and adjust steps/mm.

I’d look at a different controller for your use case. I use CNCjs on a rebuilt mill. As @MarkA.Bachman said, adjust your steps/mm in the grbl settings.
