X carve with a print heaad

I would like to mess around with a 3D printer. Has anyone added one to the x carve. or what is a good cheap printer.

Look for Prusa i3 on ebay. Cheap and they work. Remember, you get what you pay for though. Do some more research before you commit.

well, I bought a version of the I3. I shou;d get it in a couple days and then the fun begins. Combining the work of the printer and xcarve is sort of exciting.

Absolutely. I’ve created custom jigs for special projects. Worked real well. I’ve also made some really handy clamps. I hope it works out for you.
