X-Carve does have ballscrew on Z?

It is not clear for me whether X-Carve have ballscrew Z axis or not?

No, the X-carve uses a threaded rod with a delrin nut. If you choose to order the ACME rod option for X-Carve, the backlash and turning friction will be reduced.

With the present design of the Z axis there is no room to put a Ball screw on the machine. I have redesigned my Z axis and will be installing a ball screw on my machine.

The acme lead screw with the addition of a anti backlash nut will work very well.
