First off I just wanted to thank the Inventables team for the excellent support while ordering my xcarve!
So I finished my X-Carve over the weekend and have spent the entire week trying to get it to make a 5 inch circle. Every time I have to stop it early to prevent the x axis from over traveling.
I finally noticed that even when jogging, the X axis moves way to far. The Y and Z axis will move 1 inch or mm depending on which is currently set however the X axis always jumps roughly 4 inches, even when the other two are only moving 1mm as expected.
I also noticed when jogging the x axis to the left, the led next to the X axis on the gshield goes off. When I jog it to the right it will come back on.
Here are my settings.
$0=10 (step pulse, usec)
$1=255 (step idle delay, msec)

$12=0.002 (arc tolerance, mm)
$13=1 (report inches, bool)

$130=290.000 (x max travel, mm)
$131=290.000 (y max travel, mm)
$132=100.000 (z max travel, mm)
Belt and current settings have been adjusted. Moves easily without binding.
Any suggestions? Y and Z seem fine but X is always moving way to far. Thanks in advance for the help.
