I am using my X-Carve 1000mm for cutting Kydex.
I primarly cut .125" and .093" sheets, I am using 3MM Solid Carbide End mills with “Diamant tooth”.
Right now I am stuck with 400mm/min and 0.3mm per layer (using the standard spindle)… If I go any higher it starts to make ugly cuts and the spindle will complain.
My question goes like this - Would a DW660 or a Makita RT0701C be able to increase the the speed or cut depth?
