I have a shapeoko2 that I had setup and running beautifully 2 years ago. This weekend I decided to fire up the old beast and was prompted to install Easel driver 0.3.7. Done.
Prompted to setup machine. Entered machine details. Shapeoko1&2, Arduino & gshield, 500mmx500mm, M8 threaded rod, 24v DC spindle, confirm settings, and stuck…
Restart Mac, open chrome, go to easel, setup machine. Stuck again.

At the last step when clicking the arrow I get the error [chmod: Unable to change file mode on /private/var/folders…] its like 20 lines long and there’s no cut and paste.
Checked the forums again, cant find anything of the sort. Next steps please?

Only chrome was running. Arduino does powerup. Blue LED lights up. Plug in USB green LEDs light up. Also tried in Safari. No dice.
