I’m trying to run UGS 2.0 and it keeps saying Java 1.7 or higher is not installed. I’ve got the latest version of java installed and its still popping up with that error.
Any suggestions as to what I’m doing wrong?
maybe try uninstalling and reinstalling java.

Uninstall all versions of the JRE and JDK, reboot, then install the latest version.
If you’re running Windows, you uninstall from Programs and Features in the Control Panel.
If you have 64 bit Windows, make sure to uninstall all 32 and 64 bit versions, then I usually install the 32 and 64 bit JREs (same version), in that order.
