Touch Off Plate for Auto Zero

Greetings…

A friend of mine made me a touch off plate for my machine so that could get more accurate zero placement. The problem is I can’t seem to find any information on how to set up an auto zero plate. I would assume that it would work similar to the limit switches Can someone please point me in the right direction.

Thank you in advance

T

Connect a wire to the plate and that connects to pin A5 on the Arduino.
Connect a wire to a clip (to attach to the bit) and that goes to the gound on the arduino.

Your control software will determine how you use it.

Thank you so much, I thought for sure it was gonna be more difficult than that.

Want more than a Z axis zeroing. Check out my Triquetra Auto Zero Touch Plate. It does all three axis at one time.
