How I’ve done alignment like this in that past with other programs is basically it’s the first in the selection set to be the anchor, or in some cases, the shape that the cursor is hovering over is the anchor.
What about alignment options, eg. center align, left align, right, top, bottom…? Much like Illustrators alignment options.
These are already available when selecting 2 or more objects in Easel
Ahh yes. Just saw that. Don’t know how I missed that before. Very cool.

Most apps let you pick first or last-selected as the anchor.
