So I just bought Vcarve Pro and Parallels for my Mac. Can someone help guide me through the grbl gcode things I’ll have to do?

Hey guys, so I finally bit the bullet and bought vcarve pro. I know for a fact without your help, I will lose an entire week through trial and error. I dont even know what to ask. Any guidance will be much appreciated!
