Side Board Question

I received my side board on Friday and put it together. Great addition, in my opinion. However, I am perplexed by some of the threaded inserts.

There are (3) sets of (4) threaded inserts. I get the one towards the front of the machine, X-Controller. It is the other (2) sets that have me puzzled. What are these other threaded inserts for? Am I missing something?

Short answer - future expansion. They had inserts in for a potential relay box that never made it to market.

still not completely over that one. I just wish that they would release the extruded aluminum box that matches the X-Controller so that I could mount my relay inside it and all would look consistent.
