Setup X-Carve everytime when connect to computer

Hi to All!

Finally I got the X-Carve, and successfully made a Test Easel project.
But, I’m wandering for some questions (couldn’t find answer in community):
First of all - is that normal, that every time, when I connect X-Carve to my computer (MacBook), I should to go through the Machine setup? It just won’t connect and start working without that step. Or, probably I missed some “saving procedure” ?

Thank you for suggestion.
I’ve tested two last days - seems, that now all is OK. Probably I’ve connected X-Carve, when the Easel was already switched on, or smth.
