[resolved] z axis depth of cut off

Hello,

I am trying to cut all the way through a 1/2” piece of mdf. When I carve, the carve only goes down about 1/4”. How do I get my machine to carve all the way through material. Just got my x-carve last week. First time trying to cut all the way through material.

I think we need a little more info than that

are you using easel?

have you changes the depth of cut setting on the profile that you want to cut?

are you setting your z zero on the top of the material or on the spoilboard?

I just figured it out. I went back and read the instructions again for the x-controller. I had the switches on the z axis potentiometer mixed up.
