Request Tips to Upload Affinity Designer Text/Images SVG

I’ve researched every forum Affinity Designer discussion and still unable to figure out how to import text or my designs into Easel Pro. I figure out to to covert my text or images into paths. Any assistance will be greatly appreciated.
