I have 12mm msg that I have carved a 4mm circle how do I Place text in the base of the circle

Re my message it should read 12 MDF (dam spell check)

Put some text in your circle and carve to a depth greater than that of the circle.

Thanks I tried that, the circle was 4mm deep so I put in 8mm deep for the text but it just carved in air above the circle

I didn’t keep going to try agin tomorrow, this was my first carve after the build, still on a learning curve
