I’ve found you can just copy the screen capture to the clipboard and then paste in the message body and it’s smart enough to add the image as an attachment removing the step of saving then uploading.
If you’re on Linux, you probably know how to do a screen capture.
In Windows you can capture the full screen to the clipboard using the “PrtSc” key on the keyboard.
If you only want to capture the active window to the clipboard then use “Alt+PrtSc” keys.
Once you have the capture on the clipboard you can open “Paint” and paste the clipboard into the drawing window to make whatever annotations or modifiations you want to make.
