Problems between Aspire and Gcode sender

I seem to be having some problem transferring my project to my xcarve using UGS. I have been making the image in aspire then creating the tool path and exporting the gcode with the xcarve post. This is what it looks like in the display.

This was the initial cutting results, I have no clue what is going on.

Then I hit the reset to home and this happened.

Check your units. Did you design in inches and carve in millimeters?

Did you do “Return to Zero” in UGCS, without setting G28.1?

I was working in inches and saved in inches. Not sure about the G28.1 I only started using UGS today so still working out the kinks.
