Pre- Aug 2016 or Post, -Computer Setup instructions

I have my Pre-Aug 2016 Xcarve 1000 assembled. I’ve bounced between the pre/post
build instructions. The pre Aug instructions step through downloading/installing the
Arduino app. But it looks like the Post instructions may take you through that step
and only download the necessary drivers. All in all the post instructions look a little
simpler to follow.

Are the Post instructions just for the newer Xcontroler or will it be ok to follow them
for my pre-Aug 2016 Xcarve?

If you’re using the Arduino and Gshield combo, you need different drivers installed than if you’re using the Xcontroller

Follow the pre instructions for the electronics.
