@picengravertoo so i downloaded the picsender demo and got it to be what i thought was all set up however it only jogs if i use the move xyz button tried jogging with my keyboard to no avail. im really interested in this program as UGCS keeps freezing up on me. shed any light on this ??

Is the Num Lock active on your keyboard? It will not jog with the keyboard or an USB numerical keypad if the Num Lock is active. Also if you are working in another program window other then PicSender, the keyboard jogging will be disabled. You must click on the PicSender screen somewhere to enable it again.
