Moving shops

So i’m getting ready to move house which means also moving workshops. I’m getting movers in to pack the house but i’m packing the workshop up myself including the X carve.

i’d thought i would us zip ties to secure the X and Z axis in place while the machine is moved but thinking about it, would it be better to take it apart?

what do people recommend? I really don’t want anything to get broken.

Remove the router, disconnect the controller, secure the axis and tape some cardboard or bubble wrap over the rails. You don’t want to get a ding in your v-rail because something fell on it in transport.

I agree with Phil.
Use some foam and pad it well.
That is what I did when I moved mine.
