I’m thinking of buying a 24-pin Molex connector which would be spliced in just outside the drag chain so that I could disconnect/reconnect the power supply assembly easier for transportation or maintenance. Would there be any issues with voltage or shielding? is there a specific type of connector that is better than another?
detachable connections is a great idea!
How did you go with this? Sounds like it could solve a lot of peoples problems, who didn’t obtain longer cables elsewhere and don’t wanna re-do it all. And being able to detach it could be very handy. Even multiple 4-pin molex connectors etc.
