LED Signs, Clocks & Coasters

Just wanted to showcase some of the work my high school students have done. Have found out that the best way to carve the LED signs is to use a broken .7mm bit. Break the tip off so that it will not break during the carve and set the carve depth to .0025.

Also, we are looking at the X-Carve for next year. As an instructor, with the open carve area, how does the machine set the homing depth and make sure the working area is correct?
Thanks.

Your students do great work.

Can you provide a link to purchase? I’ll pick one up.

Which one would you be interested in?

Thank you very much. We are learning more everyday! I just added it to the cart.

Same carving bit Phil mentioned. His link showed them on Amazon, so I’ll pick one up there.
