Laser Safety - visitors human and K9?

Are the basic safety glasses that ship with the J-Tech upgrade kits enough for visitors and myself, or should I be considering better options?

And what about my small dogs coming into the workspace, with the laser being on a table 30 inches above the floor?

my experience is that even the cheapest of glasses will hold up 10+ seconds point blank. That is with a K40 though. No experience with those LED lasers. My guess is you are fine.
