Is this possible? There are some clamps I found in these forums (Fletcher Clamps) but I want to make a few adjustments to the size and thickness. I see that you can export the g-code from Easel but it saves it as a .nc file. Can these be converted to a .crv or .dxf file so that they can be imported into Vcarve?
I don’t think it is possible, there is no way to import gcode in VCarve; you choices are: to just take the clamps dimensions and replicate them in VCarve; modify them in Easel; or you can use an app to import the gcode into Inskcape, make an SVG file andimport the SVG in VCarve.
You can save your work in Easel and it will save it as an SVG. Go to FILE, then to DOWNLOAD ZIP. Then open up what you saved and it will be in SVG format.
Thanks Russell. This is exactly what I was looking for.
