IM SO CLOSE! it won't connect

Hey guys.

I have my machine all built, but when I try and connect the unit (1000mm) to Easel nothing happens. I’m on a 2017 MacBook Pro with touchbar. I’ve tried different USB adapters to connect to the machine and even different USB cables. I’m using the latest driver (3.9). I’ve double checked my wiring, the unit has power, Estop is up. Any ideas?

Tried installing the FTDI drivers?

http://www.ftdichip.com/FTDrivers.htm

It’s supposedly not needed but might be a safeguard.

Setting up FTDI always fixes my connecting issues when I use a new PC

Good news! I got it up and running without having to setup the FTDI. I ended up using my PC. I didn’t use it originally because I didn’t have a cable long enough. Then I found one! :smiley: Thanks for the help guys!
