Hey @JohnShrader I like the painting technique. Every time I see it, even though it makes total sense, it looks so cool to over paint it and then sand off the excess to what’s left is the area in the pocket. Adding the stained backing adds a nice touch.

What bit did you use

It was a two stage cut. I used a 1/4 in straight bit for the roughing pass and a 60 degree v-but for the detail pass.
