How to set motor current using a mac

Hello Everyone,
I looked through the forums and instructions multiple times and I must be missing the answer.Thank you for your patience. I am a Mac user and have finished building our new X-carve 1000mm. The build went smoothly until I clicked on “set motor current”. Now I feel like I am in over my head.
I was able to follow along until I got to "Then issue a very long Gcode command for that axis, something like g0x1000.**

How/where do I issue Gcode on a Mac???

Greg, are you using Easel, Chilipepper, or UGS?

You will need one of these on your Mac before you can issue a Gcode command.

If you are using Easel, you will need to request the ability to send Gcode, since it is in beta testing. Here is the link.

You can send single-line commands to the X-Carve from Easel without the gcode import beta access.

Just go to Machine --> Advanced --> Machine Inspector and you’ll see a dialog box that says “Console” In that box you can enter single line commands like the one you need.
