How To Convert PNG via Affinity Designer to Work Easel Pro

UntitledHi Team :slight_smile:Untitled , I was shown how to convert Text to Curves for uploading to Easel Pro, but for the life of me I cannot figure out how to convert an image to work in Easel. I have attached an image that I’m trying to work with but it’s not working for me. I have converted it to Curves but still no luck :frowning:

I even searched for Vector images…it must be me :frowning:

Any help will be GREATLY appreciated

Unfortunately, Affinity Designer doesn’t have an auto-trace feature, so you’ll need to re-set the text and re-draw things by hand.

If you’ve done that, things ought to import okay. If not, you’re probably just embedding the pixel image in the SVG and then trying to open that in Easel which is what it’s trying to say — that it can’t do anything with an SVG which is nothing but a pixel image.

Another possibility is that AD sets the size to 100% — you may need to open the SVG in a tool such as Inkscape and re-save it to import into Easel.

Post the SVG?

I appreciate the feedback Will :smile:Untitled

Here is the file and my settings in AD…I’ll try Inkscape too

That looks like a pixel image, you need to either auto-trace it, or re-draw it.

I just realized that I never thanked your for recommending autotrace, which made all the difference. Sorry about that :+1:t2:
