Help with y axis binding

hello all,

I recently moved my xcarve and now the y axis doesn’t want to move. I checked the wiring and have fiddled with the wheels as well. when the machine is powered off it moves freely, doesn’t seem to bind and sits flush against the front and rear plates.

please help!

I didn’t actually take it apart, just moved it from 1 table to another.

It sounds like you had a connection come loose for one of the Y axis stepper motors. Check all connections.
