Help - the milling head is stuck!

I’m hoping some one will have a better idea than me! I just received my Carvey and set it up for the test carve. Started ok but then shifted up and to the left and started to repeat the design, overlapping the original. At this point it seemed to come into contact with the clamp and stopped. I now can’t get the bit out of the material or home the head. Any thoughts?!!

Hi,

You can use a wrench to move the nut on the top of the z axis (the only nut exposed on the top of the machine) to move it up and out of the material.

Thanks! Apologies for taking so long to reply, but it was one of a number of problems I ended up having and I was going a bit crazy! That did indeed work, I just was reluctant to fiddle at first with the brand new machine!
