Curious if any one has made one or has one. Curious to know what is needed and what can it do? Any info would be nice but prefer some one that owns one. Carving is nice with x-carve but fine detail is a challenge. Thanks!
you mean a laser cutter?
if so you should try to use the search function first
Several have made laser engraver / cutters. Click the search icon on the top right, write “Laser”, hit Enter and wait a couple of seconds 
Or you could just choose laser cutting under the category list at the top of the forum. Has a lot of post laser related to the X-Carve.
