Grbl 2.0 or .9J

Just about done with the build and now lost. Do I use the Gbrl 2.0 version on the .9J version and if the .9J version how do you run it. I have 2.0 downloaded and can open the jar file.

As I understand design something in Vcarve then export Gcode, then run Grbl to communicate the gcode to the Ardunio. Is that it?

.9j is the latest version of GRBL. This is what you need installed on the Arduino Uno (no matter what else you do)

2.0 is the development version of the Universal Gcode Sender UGS). If you plan to only use Easel then you will not need the UGS code installed
