If anyone needs to figure out how to get as many parts out of a single piece of wood as possible, I found a program that is free to download and does a really great job.
It will import your parts in DXF format, you tell it the size of your stock and how many of each part you need and it will show you how to nest them. For a fee it will allow you to export a DXF file with the parts nested. But for everything I have done just seeing how the parts can fit together is really all I need.
