For Sale – Inventables X-Carve 1000 with Work Bench - $1500
I am selling my X-Carve 1000 w/ Dewalt Router with custom work bench and dust collection system. This unit works great, I just don’t have time to use it. I estimate I have 15 hours operating on it total, and used a buffer waste board so the Inventables waste board has no wear other than a handful of screw holes. Includes custom worktable with lockable rolling casters, peg board storage, and side mounted power strip. Also included is the dust collection system including: fan/receiver, after-market 1 micron filter, dust collection hose (installed on worktable with gates, includes vacuuming wand) and spindle boot. If you have read anything about these machines, you know that a dust collection system is a MUST HAVE. The dust collection system I designed works very well, and this was quite an undertaking from research, to design, to construction. This would be a HUGE cost and time savings for anyone looking to get into this. Also consider the custom work bench is completely mobile so can be used in whatever space you have. I have priced this to sell, as I have no interest in spending several afternoons showing this and trying to get maximum money. I just want to get some of my money back and clear up space in my garage. I enjoyed using this machine, but I just haven’t used it enough to justify keeping it. This is a great deal for someone trying to get into this, especially if you are more interested in using the machine than getting it set up. It would take you 4-5 weekends of work to get a new machine to this point, consider that assembly of the machine alone is a whole weekend of non-stop work.

The bag that comes with the harbor freight dust collector is 5 microns, which still lets though significant dust according to the forums. This bag does not let through any visible dust at all.
