Flash shapeoko 2 to x-carve?

so i have a shapeoko 2 do i need to flash my arduino uno or will it work with x-carve. And if it works with x-carve is it still better to flash .

The software provided is just the latest grbl firmware(from me knowlege), you select X-carve inside of easel. should be all good bro

@drphobus in the Machine menu of Easel you can select Shapeoko 1 or 2.

What differences is there in the choosing the X-Carve machine vs. the ShapeOko (1 or 2) on generating the G-Code for a project?

I assume the height of the z axis. also feed rates maybe?
