Easel telling me the file is in use by another app, do I want to make a copy?

Hey Everyone,

As the title indicates, when I import g-code into Easel I have started getting the “file open by another app” messages. It does not seem to matter if I select “make a copy” or “continue”.

I am creating the G-code using Aspire app and saving them on Google Drive. Then I close the app and retreat to my frigid workshop and import the G-code into Easel and run the job. I have verified that the file has been closed on the indoor computer before launching Easel.

Any thoughts on this? It has not caused any failed carves. Yet…

Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Are you importing the gcode into a new easel project?
Try clearing the cache on your browser.
