Dog tags - bit question

I want to try carving some heavy aluminum (.33 inches thick-ish) dog tags. My questions are:

  1. What bit to use to carve the outline out?
  2. Is there a bit that would provide some detailed design (like a logo) on aluminum?

Dimensions are 2.5 height by 1.56 wide.

This is the image from Easel Pro with a 10 degree vbit. I know the 10 degree vbit would snap in a second though on Aluminum.

I commented to your facebook post… but you might want to consider looking into acid etch. NYCNC had a video awhile back on youtube. but there are tons of videos there on cheap ways to etch.
