I’m looking for a 1/16" compression bit, but am striking out everywhere. Does this not exist?
I am not sure I have seen one before. It might be a difficult end mill to find because compression bits are meant to cut completely into a material past the point at which the change from up-cut to down-cut occurs. That can create quite a bit of tool pressure, and the likelihood of a 1/16" bit breaking might be really high.
I will definitely keep an eye out for one …

Thanks, that makes sense. I’ve been using 1/16" up and down spiral bits to cut through 1/8" plywood in 2 passes but the bits always leave tear out on one or the other side. I was thinking a compression bit might solve that problem, but a 1/8" bit would be too thick for what I’m working on.
A compression bit would definitely solve that issue when used correctly.
