Dewalt spindle has left & right play

Hi there,

The dewalt spindle on my x-carve has a lot of left-to-right play. Here’s a short video of it:

I get the sense that the wheels aren’t tight enough on the track or something, but not entirely sure. Anyone see this before?

V-wheels should be tight enough to not spin with one finger. That’s a lot of play.

The machine is in a maker space, I didn’t set it up in the first place or anything. But I’m trying to take care of it. So any guidance would be helpful.

I take it this may be an inappropriate measure?

All set now, I realize now there’s eccentric spacers on there I was able to tighten. Wasn’t obvious at first.
