While installing the DeWalt router into the mount the case hits the mount not allowing the router to go all the way down flush with the top of the mount.
Is this normal?
Yes i think it is. I ended up sanding or filing a small flat on the back side so it fit right.
I’ve always left about a 1/4" gap all the way down seems wrong…
i sanded mine down a touch as well. pretty common mod
Are you sanding down the router?
I ended up finding a particular rotation where the router just barely clears.
