I need to cut some letters out of 3/4" pvc. They need to be exactly 15" tall and in the Helvetica font. I can’t seem to get rid of the space around the text when placed in easel. I can’t use the size option because it leaves a space around the letters??? Also I can’t figure out a way to get Helvetica font into easel. Can anyone help?
Your best option is probably to create your letters in a vector-editing application (i.e. Inkscape) and then import the *.svg or *.dxf into Easel.

With any text, you need to make the text into curves/shapes/objects/path before properly sizing them. Fonts are created in different planes than most normal graphic editing so to get accurate sizing, convert it to non-text
