Cutting 1" deep with 1/16" downcut bit

I was wondering if anyone had any experience with cutting 3/4" to 1" deep with a 1/16" bit. I know the cutting height is normally only .300 inches. Can you get a 1/16" bit with a 1" cutting height with a 1/8" shank. I use down cut bits and normally only use 1/8" downcut and wanted to get a little more intricate details with going with a smaller bit.

Thanks

Since you have to neck down a 1/8" to 1/16", it’ll be difficult to get that long of a cut.

A quick Google for “long length 1/16” end mill" yielded this tool:

It’s a 1/2" cutting length but the 1/16" neck is 1" long.

Take a look at a tapered ballnose bit. It may be what you are looking for.
