Confused on X-Carve 1000mm Step 5 Assembly Instruction

I am probably being overly cautious here but I want to ask the community just to be sure… The “Connect End Plates with Extrusions” Step 5 (Redirecting…) of the build instructions say that it’s only for the 500mm model. My question is when do I put the Aluminum Extrusion rail kit onto my 1000mm model if not now?

I looked though the rest of the build guide and did not see the rails mentioned again and I also do not seem to have the 25286-17 Button Head Cap Screw M5 x 8mm screws to complete this step.

On the 1000mm X-Carve those extrusions go on on the “Work Area” step…you are doing fine :smile:

For the 1000mm model. the rails are added as part of the work area build.

I seem to recall that there was a bag of screws etc in the box with the extrusions and also in the box with the work area board.
