Is it possible to change milling
before the project is finished
I’ve done two different sizes of text

There is a feature being developed that allows for a rough pass and a detail pass. I believe this is what you want. Reply to this thread and Inventables will give you early access to the feature. You can then select two bits for your project.

I’m not sure if it will work for you but when I want to do something that involves different bits on the same piece…

  1. design it in 1 file
  2. open copies of the file and delete what isn’t done by that bit
  3. run each cut individually from the same starting point

I know it isn’t the most efficient process but it works with my limited skill set at this point.
