Cannot finish installing the Easel Driver

Had to format computer, now I am trying to reinstall the easel driver, but it will not finish installing, I have left it for hours, but the installer seems to get stuck at the very end

I am installing it in Win10 home, where it had been running since I got the Xcarve.
Any help, suggestion or mere attempt at helping will be appreciated.

Ctrl + Alt + Del

Kill it and run it again.

That did not help really. However went a bit further and uninstalled it completely and restart the install on a clean slate.

By starting anew… days later, i have now the easel driver installed.
